Learn to Sew - Sewing Machines 101

This beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop taught by tailor Anya Kloth in Wausau, WI, is designed to demystify your sewing machine. Participants will learn essential setup, including winding bobbins, proper threading, stitch selection, and basic maintenance to confidently operate their machines for future sewing projects.

Class Highlights:
Machine Mastery: Identify key parts (needle, presser foot, feed dogs, tension discs).

Setup & Operation: Learn to wind the bobbin, thread the machine, and control speed.

Essential Techniques: Practice straight, zigzag, and backstitching.

Troubleshooting: Basic maintenance tips to resolve common jams and tension issues.

Bring your machine, thread, scissors and some scrap material.
