About the event

Warbler Walk
Join Master Naturalist, Aaron Lincoln, for this hike around the Shinnery Ridge Trail and discover the world of our famous Golden-cheeked Warblers. Along the way you can expect to learn about any other birds y'all might spot, geology, and plant life native to Meridian State Park.

All ages and experience levels are welcome!

Difficulty & Length: This is a 1.5 mile hike labeled as moderate due to its length and rocky nature.

Meet: 9:00 am @ the Shinnery Ridge Trailhead

Bring: Bring Water, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, and Closed-Toe Shoes. No equipment or birding skills are needed, but binoculars would be helpful.

Cost: This program is included in park entry fees. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
