Hey Boise Area Peeps!
We can’t think of a better way to celebrate National Dance Day than with a community-wide FLASH MOB at Idaho Potato Days! Our goal? To make this the largest flash mob Idaho has ever seen!
This is a family-friendly event, and we’ve picked a routine that’s fun, easy, and accessible for everyone. And if you’re a Demon Hunter fan, you’ll be extra excited — our flash mob song is “How It’s Done.”
Here’s what you need to know:
Date: Saturday, September 20th, 2025
Location: Kleiner Park (right next to The Village in Meridian) during Idaho Potato Days — meet at the front entrance by the giant Idaho Potato display
Step 1: LEARN THE ROUTINE!
Watch the video, learn the moves, and be ready to join in.
Step 2: WHAT TO WEAR
Anything you want! Street clothes are great. If you’re a SHiNE fan, rep your SHiNE gear to help us show up strong as a community. Just come comfortable and ready to dance.
Step 3: JUMP IN DURING FLASH MOB
We’ll start with a core group, and then you can join in as the music builds. For example, some can hop in at the “hey hey,” others during the claps — we’ll let it grow naturally for that true flash mob feel.
Bonus: After the flash mob, stick around to enjoy Idaho Potato Days — kids’ activities, live entertainment, and ALL the potato food you can imagine. Yes, all the delicious potato creations will be waiting for you.
