RIDE NOTICE Meredith – 26, 27 & 28th September2025

Ride Details
FRIDAY 26th September
• Muster: 12:45pm
• Riding Out: 1:00pm
• Distance: Approx 2 Hour Ride
• Pace: Medium-paced ride. All riders must be comfortable walking, trotting, and cantering in a group. This ride is classed as easy.
Shoes or boots are recommended for horses not seasoned to trail riding
SATURDAY 27th September
• Muster: 10:30am
• Riding Out: 10:45am
• Distance: Approx 3.5 Hour Ride returning in time to watch the grand final
• Pace: Medium-paced ride. All riders must be comfortable walking, trotting, and cantering in a group. This ride is classed as easy.
Shoes or boots are recommended for horses not seasoned to trail riding
SUNDAY 28th September OBSTACLE COURSE
• Muster: 9am
• Start: 9:15am (3 Hours allowed in course arena)
• Pace: Obstacles can be done at your own pace. Suggested to complete all obstacles leading your horse then riding the course.
Shoes or boots are recommended by not necessity
Terrain
• Friday & Saturday will be some road & grass verges but mainly bush tracks. Sunday will be in the Obstacle course arena.
Feel free to camp Thursday night if you want to just be aware of costs
Important Information
• No Muster – No Ride.
• All riders, including day riders, must be familiar with ATHRA’s Code of Conduct. Visit: ATHRA Code of Conduct
• Day riders are welcome! Non-ATHRA members must register by contacting the ride organizer and completing the ATHRA registration on the ATHRA website.
• ATHRA club members are welcome to join.
• Juniors must wear a riding helmet and carry a halter and lead rope.
• Helmets are recommended for all riders.
• Please ensure all riding equipment is in safe condition.
• Horses known to kick must be identified at muster and wear a red ribbon plaited in their tails.
• A limited first aid kit will be carried on the ride.
• Riders are encouraged to carry mobile phones for emergencies.
• Please take all your rubbish home with you
COSTS
CAMPING: $10.00 Per Person/Per Night – This includes use of the shed with Power, Fridge, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, BBQ, Fire Pit, Wood, Toilet, Shower, Horse Water & Camping Ground.
YARDS: Yards available for hire at $10.00 Per Horse/Per Night or you can BYO your own yards as long as all poo, hay & feed is cleaned up well upon leaving. (17 yards available to hire, please confirm if you need a yard upon registering)
OBSTACLE COURSE: 3-Hour session to use all obstacles within the arena $50.00 (club will cover $25.00 towards the obstacle course fee for all current WTHRC members)
MEALS: Bring your own breakfast, lunch & dinner on Friday night. (BBQ available if needed)
Saturday Night, Nibbles & Meal provided by club cost for non WTHRC members $10 Per Person
What to Bring
Horse Food, Camping Gear, Rubbish Bags, Meals (except Saturday night)

Please register by Saturday 20thth Sept to Ashlea on 0448 910 565 OR Geoff on 0448 910 560.
All fees need to be paid to the club bank account by Wednesday 24th Sept via EFT BSB 033-263 ACCOUNT 298081 please put your name as the reference.
The Ride Coordinator reserves the right to cancel the ride in the
event of severe weather warnings.
