Creative Bits Writing Challenge - Submissions End

"Inspired by the Legacy of Dr. Rolando Hinojosa-Smith, our mission is to educate, inspire, and empower individuals of all ages in the Rio Grande Valley and beyond to discover, preserve, and share their stories while fostering literacy, creativity, and environmental stewardship."

The Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Library is partnering with Creative Bits and The Mercedes Enterprise to bring you a new Writing Challenge!

Kids ages 12 - 18 can submit their original works, any theme or topic, from September 15th through October 15th.

Submissions will be published and a collection of the works will be added to the library collection
