Zentangle Animals Art Class

In this master class, students will learn the meditative art of creating a zentangle, learning its purpose and practice. Together they will create zentangle maps and create patterns that will make up their animal of choice.
This peaceful and creative art class is a great way for students to relax and get creative!
Learning objectives
Learning what a Zentangle is and its purpose.
Shading methods including blending, crosshatch, stippling, scribbling, hatching, and contours.
Creating organic shapes and lines, building off that by practicing op art, aka optical illusion using linework.
Class Requirements
Must have a minimum of paying 12 students to host the class. Enrolled students will be notified 5 days before if class is canceled due to low enrollment.
Students will learn how to create Zentangles.
Their final project will be a take home Zentangle Animal of their choosing.
