Join us at Bayou Sauvage Urban NWR for a special day of connection, conservation, and creativity as we celebrate National Public Lands Day, Find Your Wild, and our monthly Saturday at the Refuge series—all in one! This free, family-friendly event will feature a mix of outdoor recreation, service learning, and art in nature.

Paddle the Marsh (10:00 am – 12:00 pm)
Kick off the day with a guided canoe trip through Joe Madere Marsh (Limited spots – sign-up required.)

Botanical Sun Printing (Cyanotype Workshop) (9:00 – 11:00 am)
Over at the Ridge Trail and Boardwalk, join Ranger Giessell Aguilar for a hands-on Botanical Sun Printing activity.

Bird Walk: Join us at the Ridge Trail and Boardwalk (8:00-9:00 am)
