Things to learn:
*Partner and single person stretching.
*Knowing the difference between pre workout warm-up, and stretching to get more flexible.
*At least 2 to 3 stretches per bodypart, both for single and partner stretches.
*Sport-specific stretching.
*Stretching for injury prevention and general maintenance.
*Stretching for rehabbing from injury.
*Discuss and experience the different philosophies of stretching.

*Improved performance
*Faster recovery times between workouts
*Better potential for increasing strength
*Keeps muscle imbalances from happening. (example, your hamstrings were tight for 20 to 30 years, even though you worked out (you didn't stretch) and now you have back issues. Or the "hunchback" old people. (In other words, good orthopedic health for the long term!)
