Dear Mentor High School Classmates,
On Friday, September 5, 2025, our MHS 1975 Class Reunion Weekend begins!! Yay:)
Our Class Picnic (open to all MHS students) is on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from sunrise to sunset at Headlands Beach State Park’s Shelter. (Food truck from 10-2 pm)
As you are getting ready for this wonderful weekend event, could you add BUY NEW SOCKS to your list?
We will be collecting new socks and other gently used items (see below) at Headlands shelter all day for The Sub Zero Mission who delivers hats, coats, gloves, boots, sleeping bags, and other warming items to the homeless in northeast Ohio and other regions during the winter.
� Nobody Should Freeze to Death in America
Sub Zero Mission is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Painesville, Ohio that provides warming items directly to the area homeless and veteran homeless population.
If you have any of these gently used items and can pack them in your car or suitcase or beach bag, then anything on this list would be so appreciated!
Donations Requested – Example: New or Gently Used Winter Items, Coats, Hats, Boots, Gloves, Sleeping Bags/Tents, and Socks (new only) 
So do it now! Put BUY NEW SOCKS on your shopping list! And if you’re into cleaning out the linen closet! Or if you’re into cleaning out the coat closet! Or if you’re into cleaning out your boots! Anything gently used would be appreciated. But socks must be new! Lol
