Looking for an excuse to tie flies, drink a good beer, and talk fishing? This one’s for you.
Join us Saturday, March 7th at 4:00 PM for an open, informal fly tying night at Brewery Nonic in downtown Menomonie. This is a laid-back get-together for fly tiers of all skill levels — no instruction, no pressure, just good vibes and good conversation.
Bring your own vise and materials, grab a beer, and tie whatever flies you feel like. Streamers, nymphs, dries, experiments that may or may not work — it’s all fair game.
The real goal of the night is simple:
-Meet like-minded anglers
-Trade tips and techniques
-Learn from each other
-Tell fishing stories (true and exaggerated...)
-Have a great time
Whether you’re brand new to tying or have been spinning thread for decades, you’re welcome at the table. Come hang out, tie a few flies, and be part of the local fly fishing community.
