Celebrate Find The Good Day

The Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula (JLPA•MP) is joining Junior Leagues around the world to celebrate Find the Good Day! Nearly 300 Leagues and more than 150,000 women will come together to make a difference in their communities. International Find the Good Day – created by The Junior League – is dedicated to finding the good in yourself, your community, and the world around you.

In past years, JLPA•MP has marked this day through projects like unveiling our Little Lending Library at the Gatehouse and organizing a community-wide beautification effort, where members signed up to spend an hour cleaning up their own neighborhoods.

This year, on Thursday, September 18 from 6–8 PM, we’ll come together for an evening of connection and celebration at neighborhood favorite Dutch Goose in Menlo Park. Look forward to...

• Delicious food: Purchase your own beverages and snacks at the counter before heading to the patio to mingle.
• Family & Dog friendly atmosphere: This event is open to everyone in our community! Bring family, friends, and anyone who wants to celebrate with us the good in each other.
• Community project: Part of Find the Good Day is about coming together to do good. At this event, we'll be hosting a hygiene drive to support our community partner, CORA, which provides critical services to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence. A more detailed list will be shared closer to the event.
