49th San Francisco Comedy Competition - Early Show

The 49th San Francisco Comedy Competition returns to the Guild Theatre with 16 new comics from last week. They are competing to advance to the Semifinals to face the top five from Week 1. Only five advance, the rest walk home. Round Two features comics from around the world making their first appearance in the United States.

The Guild offers one of the best nights of the San Francisco Comedy Competition because you can see a wide range of comics emerging from around North America in one venue.

The San Francisco Comedy Competition is one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America, launching the careers of people like Patton Oswalt, Robin Williams and Ellen DeGeneres. It’s an outrageously funny evening, where you will see the comedy stars of tomorrow competing for their chance at fame and fortune. Hundreds of comedians audition each year to compete, but only 32 are chosen.
