Why we’re gathering:
This beautiful long lunch is more than just a delicious meal. Together, we are raising funds for the Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation — a remarkable organisation continuing the legacy of Dr Catherine Hamlin AC.
In Ethiopia, many women give birth without medical care. Tragically, this can result in obstetric fistula, a devastating childbirth injury that leaves women incontinent and often cast out from their families and communities. The Hamlin Foundation provides life changing surgery, rehabilitation, and loving care, giving women the chance to heal and reclaim their dignity.
Your ticket and donations will directly support this work, helping women in Ethiopia receive treatment and a new beginning. 🙏
