Запрошуємо вас на надзвичайну, історичну подію для нашої громади. Цієї суботи, 22 листопада, у Мельбурні буде розгорнуто найбільший у світі український прапор, так само як це вже відбулося у Сіднеї та Брісбені.
Це знаменна подія відбудеться в рамках вшанування пам’яті жертв Голодомору — геноциду Українського народу 1932–33 років, здійсненого сталінським режимом.
Програма події
4:00 PM – Панахида та поминальна служба
Місце: Українська Католицька Катедра у Норт-Мельбурні (35 Canning Street, North Melbourne 3051)
Ми зберемося у молитві, щоб вшанувати мільйони невинних українців, які загинули від штучного голоду, та засвідчити єдність нашої громади.
5:00 PM – Розгортання найбільшого у світі Українського прапора
Місце: North Melbourne Football Club, Arden Street Oval

The World’s Largest Ukrainian Flag to Be Unfurled in Melbourne!

Dear Ukrainians of Melbourne and friends of Ukraine,
We warmly invite you to a truly remarkable and historic event for our community. This Saturday, 22 November, the world’s largest Ukrainian flag will be unfurled here in Melbourne, just as it has already been proudly displayed in Sydney and Brisbane.
This significant moment will take place as part of the commemoration of the Holodomor — the genocide of the Ukrainian people in 1932–33, carried out by Stalin’s regime. Together, we will honour the memory of the millions who perished during this horrific man-made famine.
Event Program
4:00 PM – Commemorative Service
Location: Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, North Melbourne (35 Canning Street)
We will gather in prayer to remember all Ukrainians who were murdered during the Holodomor and stand united as a community in their memory.
5:00 PM – Unfurling of the World’s Largest Ukrainian Flag
Location: North Melbourne Football Club, Arden Street Oval
