Join international guest Dr Adrián Maldonado of National Museums Scotland, Researcher on the Unwrapping the Galloway Hoard project, for an engaging conversation on Treasures of the Viking Age: The Galloway Hoard.

Drawing on over a decade of research, Dr Adrián Maldonado discusses the story behind the hoard’s discovery, the significance of its intricate objects, and what they reveal about Viking-age life.

This engaging talk offers a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from one of the team of specialists uncovering the secrets of one of the most important archaeological finds from the British Isles.

This session will be moderated by Erin Mathews, Exhibition Project Manager, Museums Victoria.
