Rowan Smith Band ‘SMALL HAPPINESS’

Rowan Smith founded Melbourne bands Macguffins and Barefoot, before moving to Hobart where he has produced a further six solo albums. Following a brilliant St Kilda show last November celebrating his acclaimed ninth album, IN THE KEY OF KINTSUGI, Rowan has decided to once again call Melbourne home.
In a fitting homecoming - as Rowan penned his first songs for Macguffins living just around the corner from Odeon Richmond - SMALL HAPPINESS is an opportunity to hear his songs up close.
The band includes Macguffins bass player, Michael Paxton, Greenhouse drummer, Craig Mitchell and Gina Hearnden (Blackbirds FC and The Hollowmen).
As a very special support, The Hollowmen's Billy Baxter will join Gina for a set of their favourite alt-country covers.
And Glenn Bennie will be spinning indie, jangle pop and folk rock classics throughout the evening too.
