About this Event

Preventing Criminal Manslaughter - Understanding & Implementing SFAIRP (Live Forum)

The minuscule return on the stupendous allocation of organisational resources directed at managing OHS matters is just plain wrong. Not only are the required safety outcomes not being achieved but directors and designers (especially architects and engineers) continue to leave themselves open to post-event prosecution.

This event is for you if there is a mismatch between what your designers do and what your directors need to demonstrate safety due diligence.

Such a mismatch will occur if:

  • Your organisation follows the ISO 31000 process without question.
  • Your organisation uses tolerable or target levels-of-risk or heat maps as prime safety decision-making tools
  • Your board receives volumes of incomprehensible risk-based data rather than the reduced set of critical (rare) concerns.

The event builds on the success of the Risk! Engineers Talk Governance podcast and the core feedback it's received. The event will follow a similar setting as the podcast – a round table forum – with it being recorded for a potential episode.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and network.
