Melbourne Global Game Jam returns in 2026 for a fantastic weekend of game development at SAE in South Melbourne! Join 200 game developers locally and thousands globally for 48 hours of collaborative game development, from the 30th of January - 1st of February.

Global Game Jam® is the world's largest game creation event taking place around the world at physical locations. GGJ stirs a global creative buzz in games, while at the same time exploring the process of development, be it programming, iterative design, narrative exploration or artistic expression.
