Low Hammock Aerial Series (week 2)
✨ 3-Week Aerial Low Hammock Beginner Series ✨
Discover the power of practicing closer to the earth. In this series, you’ll learn how to use a low hammock—set at knee height—to build strength, deepen flexibility, and support your body in new ways. The low hammock challenges your core differently than a traditional higher setup and offers a grounded, accessible way to explore aerial movement.

You’ll learn how the fabric can help you expand your strength and stretch goals, enhance your mat-based yoga practice, and introduce you to a new dimension of mindful movement.

🌿 Week 1 — Low Hammock Foundations (Strength + Stretch)
Get acquainted with the low hammock and learn essential techniques for using it safely and effectively. Explore strength-building movements, deeper stretch variations, and foundational poses that support both your aerial and mat practice.

💫 Week 2 — Fascia Release + Gentle Restoration
Experience the therapeutic side of the low hammock. Through gentle inversions, supportive binds, and hammock-assisted restorative postures, you’ll melt into deeper fascial release to help your body recover, unwind tension, and reset your nervous system.

🌙 Week 3 — Low Hammock Yin (Deep Tissue Release)
Settle into long-held yin postures supported by the hammock for 1–3 minutes. These shapes are designed to target tight connective tissues beyond the muscles, allowing deep release, increased mobility, and a profound sense of calm.

Whether you’re looking to build strength, support recovery, release tension, or explore a new style of aerial movement, this low hammock series meets you right where you are—grounded, supported, and ready to grow.

This is an All Levels class that offers progressions/modifications to be suitable for everyBODY. Please bring a mat and water. Please wear a shirt that covers the underarms and avoid jewelry to help keep the silks clean and snag-free. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow adequate time to size your aerial silk.

Preregistration required due to limited space. Cancellations on the day of class and no shows will be charged. (Warrior III members will be charged $20, all others will lose the visit from their pricing option.)
