Join us for CI Lounge, a space for conversations, reading, writing, and art-making in relation with Contact Improvisation.
In each session we’ll gather to share resonant CI literature (e.g. Contact Quarterly, Proximity, etc.) and also explore ways we might express or document our own experiences of CI (through writing, drawing, collaging, zine-making).
How might the ways we talk and write about CI influence how we dance, and vice versa? How might we ‘dance’ with CI literature?
If you're curious about these questions and more, join us!
We hope that CI Lounge can support and stimulate your ongoing practice and research :)
Limited spots, so booking is essential.
NOTE: Each session may flow in and out of dancing, so some experience of CI is recommended.
