Previously on Babylon 4:
The Sh’lassen Triumvirate has been taken over by some sort of infectious hive mind, believed to be the work of a rogue Vorlon.
A strange alien named Zathras told people that a group of humans and minbari had become “lost in time”. A time stabiliser was built and when activated it caused a ship called the White Star to appear attached to the hull of Babylon 4. On board were a group of humans and minbari. They came from the future and had been sent back in time to steal Babylon 4 and take it to fight in a war a thousand years in the past.
A second Babylon 4 station was discovered in a distant sector. Old, battle damaged, and heavily modified, it had clearly been through a war already.
Jha’dur, a Dilgar known as Deathwalker, arrived on the station and offered the council a virus to destroy the biotech that had been found on the Dilgar world. Jha’dur was arrested after accusations of war crimes were made against her by the League of Non-Aligned Worlds.

Recently:
Connections with the systems of Dross, Kotak, Ardun, and Ceti have been lost completely. Acting on information from multiple governments, the Interstellar Cartographer's guild has assumed them conquered by the Sh’lasseen hive mind.
A fleet of combined Earth, Narn, Centauri, and League ships orbits through the Epsilon III system, protecting Babylon 4 from any advance by the Sh’lassens.
A group was sent to retrieve the second Babylon station and bring it back to the Epsilon III sector. Once repaired, the population of Babylon 4 can be moved across to the second station so that B4 can be sent into the past, closing the time loop. However the repairs have taken longer than expected and the team has not yet returned…
Several warcruisers belonging to the Minbari clan of the Wind Swords have arrived and issued a statement: Jha’dur has been granted asylum by the Minbari. They demand her release and immediate return. They have blockaded the gate and begun jamming communications in the sector.
The ambassadorial staff and guests have gathered in the Sanctuary, an observation deck in Blue Sector to discuss the growing Sh’lassen threat and the evacuation of Babylon 4’s civilian population in preparation for its eventual trip through time. The room features large glass windows beyond which you can see the stars and jump gate, a favoured place for watching ships coming and going.
Meanwhile, Jha’dur has disappeared from her cell…
