In her final years, Bird's Basement became Renée's musical home – the intimate jazz club where she felt most at ease, sharing her extraordinary talent in the setting she loved most. Her last performance was on that very stage, making this venue the perfect place to celebrate her remarkable legacy.

Coming from celebrated Australian jazz royalty – her father was beloved jazz musician Smacka Fitzgibbon – Nichaud brings both the vocal prowess and deep musical understanding needed to honour Renée's extraordinary repertoire.
