Scare School: August 23rd 12 PM
Auditions & Interviews (attend one)
Saturday, August 23rd — 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Sunday, August 24th — 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Location: Talon Falls Screampark, 2932 State Route 849 W, Melber, KY 42069
This is a first-come, first-served process. You only need to attend one date.
What to Expect
-Actors will participate in group auditions with improv-style exercises.
-Costumes, Technicians, Tractor Drivers, Parking, and Hospitality positions will be interviewed.
-Makeup artists will need to bring a model for their audition and will be expected to show 1-2 SFX looks.
-Everyone will complete an application, submit availability for September and October, and have a photo attached to their application.
-Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, auditions will be active and movement-based.
What to Bring
-Job application information including Drivers License, and full September–October availability.
FAQ
How old do I need to be? You must be 13-15 years old to Volunteer with Parent signature. 16+ are eligible for paid positions.
Do I need experience? Experience can be a plus, but it isn’t required. We value energy, teamwork, and a willingness to learn above all.
What is the schedule? Call time is 4:30 PM on operating nights. Some exceptions can be noted for school or work. Training and safety days are required.
Do I need to attend the entire audition time? No, you can arrive at any point during audition hours. Wait times will vary depending on attendance.
