The Canine Companions Northern Ohio Volunteer Chapter cordially invites you to join us for STRIDE for SERVICE DOGS on the Square in Medina, Ohio on Saturday, September 13th from 3-5 p.m. This family-friendly, pet-friendly event will celebrate Canine Companions' 50th anniversary! They have celebrated many milestones over the past five decades, but their mission remains the same: to provide expertly trained service dogs to individuals with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals, free of charge. The Northern Ohio Chapter has a lofty goal: walk 50 miles to raise $50,000 in honor of our 50th anniversary!
Here are the ways you can participate:
1. We need 50 people to sign up to walk 1-mile with us at the event on September 13th. To register to "stride", please use this link:

Event day 9/13/25 (family-friendly, pet-friendly)
3:00-4:00 pm - Registration and human/canine activities
4:00 pm - 1-mile STRIDE
4:45 pm - Service dog demonstrations / Proclamation for National Service Dog Month by Medina's Mayor
5:00 pm - Closing ceremony
