Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

April 2025 marked 32 years since Big Bad Voodoo Daddy burst onto the music scene from Ventura, California, helping to lead the 1990s swing revival with their energetic fusion of jazz, swing, and dixieland. Co-founded by Scotty Morris and Kurt Sodergren, the band has appeared in concert venues across the world, sold millions of records, and had their music appear in hundreds of movies and television shows. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy­—with its original lineup still going strong—continues its mission to celebrate and revitalize jazz and swing music, while bringing joy to audiences around the world.
