Op zaterdag 30 augustus wordt het water in Hombeek het decor van een adembenemend schouwspel: E-FoilFest – Belgium Grand Prix. E-foilers uit binnen- en buitenland nemen het tegen elkaar op in spannende races over een uitdagend parcours.
E-foils zijn elektrische surfboards die, dankzij een draagvleugel onder water, letterlijk boven het water zweven. Het resultaat? Snelheid, souplesse en spectaculaire bochten – een unieke sport die je live móét zien!
Het publiek kan gratis langs de oever meegenieten van het spektakel, de strijd om de snelste tijd én de gezellige sfeer rond het water. Tussen de races door is er muziek, een zomerbar en de kans om deze futuristische boards van dichtbij te bekijken.

On Saturday, August 30th, the waters of Hombeek will set the stage for a breathtaking spectacle: E-FoilFest – Belgium Grand Prix. E-foilers from Belgium and abroad will go head-to-head in thrilling races on a challenging course.
E-foils are electric surfboards that, thanks to a hydrofoil underneath, literally hover above the water. The result? Speed, elegance, and spectacular turns – a unique sport you simply have to see live!
Spectators can enjoy the action for free from the shore, watching the battle for the fastest time and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere around the water. Between races, there will be music, a summer bar, and the chance to see these futuristic boards up close.
