Join six acclaimed McLaren Vale producers for a day honouring Grenache—one of the region's most expressive, site-driven and revered grapes.
The Grenache Collective brings together Penny's Hill, Gemtree, Larnook, Paralian, Willunga 100 and Ministry of Clouds for a relaxed tasting day at the beautiful Gemtree Tasting Room.
Guests will enjoy small parcels of thoughtfully crafted Grenache in all its forms—from vibrant Grenache Rosé and youthful Joven styles to elegant single-vineyard expressions and wines from some of McLaren Vale's most iconic sites.
Wander between tastings, enjoy live music, and take in vineyard views with a glass of wine by the fire or under the marquee. Fleurieu Pizza and Gemtree cheese plates will be available to purchase throughout the day.
For those looking for something extra, there will be a Grenache Masterclass from 10am-11am before the main event commences. This intimate guided tasting by the six producers will explore regional nuances, winemaking techniques, and site expressions, paired with curated cheese selections.
