Artist Statement
As a native Texan and lifelong artist, I’m drawn to the overlooked and the ordinary—capturing or creating them in ways that reveal deeper meaning. Through photography, abstract, and mixed media, I explore the beauty of Texas landscapes, vanishing architecture, and inner emotion. Whether through the lens or layered textures, my work seeks to connect with others on a soul level—where memory, identity, and vision meet. Art is most powerful when it reflects not just the artist’s voice, but also the viewer’s experience. My goal is to give visual form to what others feel but can’t always express.
