March 17th Guild meeting

Join us on Tuesday, March 16th for our monthly guild meeting. Doors open at Noon for a social time, followed by a brief business meeting and program beginning at 1:00pm.

Jeffree Itrich and Judy Stewart will present "The Wedding Dress Quilt."The lecture will begin with the author sharing her inspiration for the story. How her deeply rooted Texas family shared a part of weaving this story together. She will read from her book. The signed copies will be for sale.

The second part of the lecture, Judy Stewart will share her story
about the double wedding ring pattern she used to make the Wedding dress quilt, featured on the cover and in the story.

WORKSHOP – On March 18 Judy Stewart will lead the "Double Wedding Ring Block with Wedding Dress Fabric"workshop. Judy made the original quilt for the book, "The Wedding Dress Quilt." Students will make a 16 1/2" Double Wedding Ring block by using wedding dress fabrics.
