Garden Tour - East McKinney Learning Garden

We are meeting at the McKinney Learning Garden, 704 Greenville Rd in McKinney. It is adjacent to the Tupps Brewery. The Learning Garden’s goal is to assist in bridging the large food-desert gap in our community by teaching people how to create food-producing gardens in their own backyards and to use that food as part of a healthy diet. Bruce Mead, garden manager is going to give a tour of the 30 raised beds, harvest area, potting benches, etc. in these gardens and show us how it benefits those in need for fresh produce on the east side of McKinney. All are welcome to attend.
