The Riverwalk Chalkwalk is a day-long of creativity and positive community energy, culminating in over the sidewalk space at the beautiful Miller Point Park, displaying amazing chalk art. This event is hosted on the Riverwalk along the Fox River in McHenry.

THE DETAILS:
Sunday September 21st, 2025
9am-5pm
Located at Miller Point Park
Face painting, Bouncy Houses, Food Trucks, Live Music from 1pm-4pm
CHALK ARTIST PARTICIPANTS:
Open to age groups 12-17 and 18 and up
Fee $35
All Artist will receive a 48 piece soft chalk pastels. This is the only Medium you can use. No outside chalk.
Artist areas are first come first serve.
Area size is 4'x4'
Only the Artist that signed up may participate.
Artist sign in starts at 8am. Judging is at 4pm.
Artists must register at mchenryriverwalk.org Deadline is September 14th, 2025
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the two age groups.
There will be a separate area to chalk for ages under 12 no registration required, and sidewalk chalk provided.
Rain or shine event no rain date scheduled but if the event is canceled due to inclement weather, you will be refund your fee.
