Meeting Spot is Sacramento Horsemen's Association, 3200 Longview Dr, Sacramento, CA. We will park at the far east side of the front SHA parking lot.
As we continue to "connect the dots" in upper Arcade Creek within the City's Del Paso Regional Park, we will start just EAST of SHA's property and proceed upstream towards the Softball Complex Bridge. While we covered this stretch during our amazingly successful Earth Day events the past 2 years, the creek is now dry, allowing us to really scour the bottom.
This area is full of natural filters that have stopped a substantial amount of trash from being swept downstream and into the Delta and beyond. But that leaves a lot of cleanup work to rid this beautiful parkway of the resulting debris fields of trash.
This event will range in difficulty from easy to difficult, with some pretty easy pickins' around the flat grassy parkway.
AGE LIMIT: This event is not suitable for minors under 12 years old. Minors older than 12 are invited, but must be supervised by a responsible adult during the entire event.
1) If you plan to attend, please click "Going". This will ensure enough food is provided for the event and help us prepare strategically (parking, cleanup sites, equipment, etc.)

RCWA will provide bags, but please bring along your sturdy footwear, grabbers, buckets and gloves - a limited number of loaner buckets and grabbers may be available. Recommended (but not required): shovels, cultivators, rope and hay hooks.
As with all events shared by RCWA, participation is performed solely at your own risk. Please place safety FIRST and do only what you feel comfortable doing. Moreover, participants will be required to sign a Release and Waiver form if they have not done so previously.
