Dancing Rabbit Music Festival - July 19 - with Marcy Playground

The Dancing Rabbit Music Festival's July show is locking in coordinates for an out-of-this-world experience. Sending the summer out in style, we’re traversing the cosmos with Grammy-nominated singers and bands. Your only mission… to have an unforgettable time.

Headlining this FREE, outdoor music event in downtown McAlester, is Marcy Playground. A name that resonates with anyone who came of age in the late '90s and early 2000s. Best known for their breakout hit "Sex and Candy", the band captured the mood of an era with their signature blend of alt-rock, grunge, and soulful melodies.

Joining Marcy Playground is Augustana. Known for their ability to craft songs that balance both vulnerability and strength, Augustana has built a legacy of beautifully textured rock music that continues to resonate across generations. Stephen Speaks will also be on the #DRMF stage. The band first skyrocketed to fame with their platinum-selling 2001 album, which produced two #1 hits, "Passenger Seat" and "Out of My League." Since then, Stephen Speaks has toured across the globe, bringing their infectious energy and soulful sound to fans everywhere. Kicking off the festival show is Leslie Mendelson. A Grammy-nominated artist, she’s known for blending folk-rock, pop-Americana, and timeless melodies.
