Discover many ways to enjoy birding during Birdability Week this October! Join Dane County Parks, Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance, and Birdability for a FREE Birdability Week event at Fish Camp County Park for a variety of birding-related experiences. Birdability Week is a time to uplift and amplify the experiences of birders with disabilities and other health concerns, fostering joy, community, and connection with nature. This special event on October 25 is designed to make birding and the outdoors welcoming, inclusive, safe, and accessible for all.
We are thrilled to have Cat Fribley, executive director of Birdability, at this event! Cat will lead one of the birding activities (9-10:30am Sit), and at the Birdability table to chat with folks throughout the morning.
Birding options include strolls, sits, bird photography, birding by bike, birding by boat, and learning more about our organizations at our tables.
