The Nightflies began as an informal get-together of 10 musicians, for the love and challenge of playing the intricate arrangements of Steely Dan's Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. The band's name is a tip-of-the-hat to the 1982 standard-bearer Donald Fagen's solo album, The Nightfly.
The Nightflies will be returning to Sanctuary with their ambitious medley of recognizable, danceable, foot-tapping, 70's-80's radio hits, plus some Becker/Fagen's deep cuts. Come sing along to some favorite Steely Dan tunes.
The Nightflies are honored to have the skillful Barry Silverman (keyboards) join us on stage.
