An Evening with Acoustic Alchemy

For over 30 years, Acoustic Alchemy has pushed the boundaries of contemporary jazz, blending nylon and steel guitar to create a signature sound that defies genre. Whether weaving in jazz, blues, Caribbean rhythms, Eastern melodies, or classical flourishes, their music remains unmistakably their own.

After over a decade since their last studio album, the band returns with 33 1/3—a deeply personal and musically adventurous project born out of resilience and inspiration. Guitarist Greg Carmichael’s journey through his wife’s life-altering illness and recovery added a new depth to their creative drive. Together with longtime collaborator Miles Gilderdale and aided on tour by guitarists like Steve Oliver and Nate Najar, the band continues to evolve while staying true to their roots.

Their latest work is not just a comeback—it’s a celebration of perseverance, passion, and the power of sound to transcend life’s challenges. Acoustic Alchemy is back, and they’ve got something to say.
