We'll be holding a Refashion Show, on Thursday 29th January at 11am, in Mathias Old School House. Family and friends are invited to attend, staff from WVDEP and local business people will be judges.
When making your refashion outfit, please consider the seven R's: Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Repair and Recycle. You're not permitted to buy anything for your outfit/costume.
A minimum of five different materials must be used.
You need to walk in your finished outfit.
No bare chest or midriff is allowed, and all items must be on or below the knee.
Only small amounts of tape and staples maybe used.
This event is about creating something wonderful, unique and 100% recycled...
Your outfit must come into one of the following catagories:
Animal Kingdom (ie: Bird, Insect, Animal)
Futuristic (ie: Space, Alien, Robot)
Renaissance (ie: King, Queen, Knight)
Mythical (ie: Dragon, Fairy, Unicorn)
Aquatic (ie: Brackish, Ocean, Freshwater).
The category chosen and photograph of outfit, must be sent to Debz by Thursday 22nd January. So a description can be written, prior to the Show.
