The best time of the year is approaching! Training Season!
If you are enjoying the Holiday season eating cookies, you are already preparing yourself for the 2026 training seasons first training run, the Cookie Crumble!
Join us for the Cookie Crumble 5 and 10-mile training run. This run is FREE for Toledo RoadRunners Club members. Run your distance and upon your return, enjoy some cookies & hot chocolate with fellow Toledo Roadrunners.
TIME: The run starts at 8:00 am.
REGISTRATION: Register using the link. All registrations must be done online through RunSignUp. Race day registration must be done online and will close at 8:10 a.m.
LOCATION: The Lamb Center at Side Cut Metropark. The Lamb Center is located near the Sledding Hill side of the park. Indoors. Yes, we get to eat the cookies and warm up indoors!
COOKIES: Well, of course, there will be cookies! Bring your favorite homemade cookies to share. We will once again have a vote on the best cookie! The Toledo Roadrunners Club will provide store-bought cookies, as your race directors do not bake. :)
TRAINING ROUTES: We will be running on the Metropark Trail, leading from Side Cut toward the Fallen Timbers Monument, with a turnaround for the 5-mile group near the entrance to the Fallen Timbers Battlegrounds Metropark. The 10-mile runners will continue towards the North Fork trail/bike path, where they will turn around near Monclova Elementary School.
There will be no results or awards, only fun memories made with other club members.
