Seed Swap

WHAT IS IT?
Community members are invited to exchange vegetable, herb, or native seeds at the Mattoon Public Library. A table will be available on the 1st floor to leave and take seeds. Come and go as you please! Read the expectations below to ensure a quality seed swap.

EXPECTATIONS:
Bring edible, native, and noninvasive seeds
Bring viable seeds (no more than 2 years old)
No hybrid seeds
Purchased or self-harvested seeds welcome
Seeds must be in a clearly labeled bag or envelope with the variety name and date harvested
Extra envelopes will be available if needed
Be courteous - don’t be greedy!
