In February, Wahluke School District will be running their M&O Levy Replacement. This is not a new tax but a renewal of our existing levy at the same rate ($2.50) + terms (4 years).
Our M&O levy helps supplement state funding, which unfortunately doesn’t fully cover the actual cost of running WSD. These funds help support:
✅ Teacher and staff salaries not fully covered by the state
✅ Extracurricular activities *sports, music, clubs
✅ Classroom materials, textbooks, and technology
✅ Transportation, safety, and security costs
✅ Maintenance of school buildings & facilities
