Join us Sept. 25 at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Brownsville when The Texas Tribune gathers local business, education and political leaders to discuss how to prepare the region’s young people for the home-grown jobs of the future.

Join us at 12 p.m. Thursday Sept. 25, at The University of Rio Grande in Brownsville and online.
Confirmed speakers include Guy Bailey, president of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley; Andrea Figueroa Benton, director of Community Relations at NextDecade / Rio Grande LNG; and LJ Francis, member of the Texas State Board of Education. The conversation will be moderated by Texas Tribune Editor-in-Chief Matthew Watkins.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the hourlong conversation begins at noon. The conversation will take place in The El Gran Salón the Student Union, which is building 8 on the UTRGV Brownsville campus map. The closest event parking will be lot B2.
Lunch will be provided by The Tribune.
