Welcome to the Philosophy In The Park Summer Series !
These start in late November and run through to late February
Each session takes a different shape—sometimes small-group conversations, sometimes a single open circle—but all are rooted in the Socratic Method: asking questions, listening carefully, and thinking together rather than trading speeches or debating winners and losers.
Discussions can be on everything from Politics to Pop Music, Ideology to Identity, Markets to Marxism, Feminism to Faith, Aesthetics to Anarchy, Capitalism to Consciousness and beyond...
In the spirit of “Philosophy in the Public Sphere,” the group is open to everyone. No academic background required—just an open mind, a willingness to ask questions, and respect for different perspectives.
Bring a blanket or chair, your curiosity, and perhaps a thermos or snack to share.
