� Calling All Treasure Hunters, Nature Nuts, Couch Escape Artists, and Folks Who Just Like Shiny Things!
It’s time to trade screen time for dirt time—join us in Mason, TX for a rockhounding adventure where Texas �TOPAZ�might be hiding just under your boots.
� What’s the Buzz?
• Dig ‘n Discover: Hunt for topaz, crystals, arrowheads—or maybe that lost earring from 2006. Either way, you’ll leave with stories (and hopefully rocks).
• Wildlife Watch Party: Deer, birds, lizards, and the occasional side-eye squirrel. Cameras highly encouraged.
• Kid Energy Burn-Off Zone: Let the little ones run wild so they don’t climb your furniture later. Mother Nature handles supervision. �
� Event Details:
• When: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18
• Meet Up: 8:00 AM at the west side of the Mason County Courthouse
• Convoy Departure: 8:30 AM sharp (we pretend to be organized—humor us)
� RSVP? Nope. Just bring yourself, your crew, and maybe that friend who always says, “I’m not outdoorsy,” but secretly loves it.
� Want to pre-pay? Swing by Mason Country Collectibles before 5 PM Friday. Bonus points for being ahead of the game.
� Road-Trippers Welcome!
Coming in from a few hours away? Make it a weekend! Stay at a local Airbnb or snag a cabin/campsite at Dos Rios—river dips optional, but highly recommended.
� Dig Site Perks:
• Past treasures: Topaz, quartz, arrowheads, funky crystals, and “what on earth is this?” mystery finds.
• Private Land Entry: $40/person (waiver required—because lawyers).
• Dig Hours: From arrival until 3:00 PM.
• Souvenirs: Keep up to a 5-gallon bucket’s worth of finds. (No, you can’t take the entire hill.)
� Pack Smart:
• Tools: Shovels, buckets, screens, gloves, and your “lucky socks.”
• Survival Kit: Water, snacks, cooler, sunscreen, and a hat with serious personality.
• Restrooms: Nature’s facilities. Bring TP, just in case.
• Pets: Safer at home—too many critters already on the guest list.
