Wolfdog Comedy’s FALL on the floor fest

Fall on the floor fest is comedy competition/showcase taking place at music man square on Friday September 26th. It will include 6 comics who will have won preliminary rounds to be a part of the show. The contest will be scored by a panel of guest judges and the winner will receive a guaranteed spot on Mason City’s biggest comedy show of the year The North Iowa Comedy Festival 5 in 2026. Here’s how we get there.. all of the wolfdog comedy open mics in July and august will serve as preliminary rounds to be a part of FOTF and will be on the following dates

Sunday July 6th @ pipe dream pizza mason city IA

Tuesday July 8th @ britt bar and grill britt IA

Thursday July 17th @ lorados mason city IA

Sunday August 3rd @ pipe dream pizza mason city IA

Tuesday august 12th @ britt bar and grill britt IA

Thursday august 20th @ lorados mason city IA

each night will be pre booked and cut off at 15 comics. You can sign up for as many as you want unless you win on a night. Comics will be judged in the prelims as well as the finals from 1-10 on jokes and stage presence and 1-20 on crowd reaction so the more people cheering for you the better your chances. There will be one winner on each night and those 6 comics will perform at fall on the floor fest at music man square for a chance at a guaranteed spot at North Iowa Comedy Festival 5 next spring.
