October Cooking Demo
Join us at Roots on October 21 at 6 PM for a cooking demonstration! Jenn will share three unique and simple recipes! She’ll be making chorizo stuffed acorn squash, creamy date caramel dip, and apple quinoa salad.
We're excited to have Healthy Harvest of North Iowa in attendance to teach us about ways we can find ingredients locally!
Attendees will receive each recipe, a heavy sample to enjoy during the event (BYO drink -- wine is fine!) You'll go home knowing more about how to create tasteful & balanced recipes, you'll have an understanding of the nutrient profile for each meal, and we'll give you inspiration to use these recipes in new ways.
