Across the country—from the fruit fields in California to classrooms in Chicago, from kitchens in Queens to loading docks in Atlanta—working people are rising up and planning more than just a barbecue this Labor Day, and we are standing in solidarity here in Martinsville!
At a time when the billionaire agenda is turning our government into a slush fund for the wealthy, gutting Medicaid, firing federal workers, and ravaging our families through ICE raids, we are coming together to demand “workers over billionaires.”
Collectively, we are fighting for a society where public schools take precedence over private profits, healthcare is prioritized over hedge funds, and affordable housing is valued more than homelessness.
Labor and community groups are planning more than 2,000 “Workers Over Billionaires” events on Labor Day 2025. We are working people coming together to stop the billionaire takeover–not just through the ballot box or the courts, but through collective action. We are growing our movement and fighting for a country that is more fair, just, equitable, and free for all of us—and not just a chosen few.
On Labor Day, our strategy is simple: build a movement by and for America’s working class!
Woven together by the unique threads of human rights, voting rights, civil rights, labor rights, immigrant rights, and access to healthcare, our movement is working to reclaim our power from corporate elites. We will not be scared away by the billionaires taking over our government.
On Labor Day, we are rising up because our lives, our families, our public schools, and our health care depend on it.
