Dr. Elliot Engel returns to Piedmont Arts Thursday, Oct. 2., with a light and enlightening literary lecture on Robert E. Lee.
By examining the unusual forces that shaped Lee's early life, Engel expertly reveals the man as a son, father, husband and unassuming general. Using anecdotes, analysis and large doses of humor, Engel lends new insight to the life and accomplishments of this historical figure.
