Sandra Risser and Friends - Comedy at the Campbell

CoCoComedy presents an evening full of laughs with Sandra Risser and Friends. Fresh off her 4 yes votes on America's Got Talent, we grabbed her for a night and invited some of her best Bay Area friends and comedians.

We have an awesome lineup, (see bios below).

Sandra Risser:

Sandra is the new poster girl for growing old. She is funny, sexy (for her age) & irreverent. Audiences of all ages love her tales of growing up in the golden age of sex, drugs & rock 'n roll.

Her comedy embodies her years of living. She enthralls audiences with stories about her misspent youth, young adult antics, middle aged exploits and senior adventures. She shares stories about her ex-husband, living with Essential Tremors & aging. As she says "I'm not old. I'm used!"

CoCoComedy fans will remember fan favorite Jeff Applebaum from past CoCoComedy productions.

After 20+ years in California, this New York City native is finally learning to speak English. Jeff’s clean comedy examines his particular life experiences, which include being the only white kid on his Little League team in Queens, moving to Long Island for high school, having a Chinese wife and raising children who call themselves “Jewnese,” because he says it sounds better than “Chine-ish.”

Jeff made his national TV debut on CBS as a comedian on the "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." He has also appeared on Comics Unleashed and Comedy.TV, Byron Allen's nationally syndicated Entertainment Studios program, ABC-TV, America's Got Talent on NBC and opened for and performed with comic legends Robert Klein, Mort Sahl, Richard Lewis, Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Kevin Pollak, Elayne Boosler, Jimmy "JJ" Walker, and more. He's also a frequent guest on KGO Radio, AM810 in San Francisco, CA

Jeff was cast by Sandy Hackett, the late Buddy Hackett's son, to play the principal role of Joey Bishop in the long-running musical tribute "The Rat Pack Is Back," in San Francisco, Chicago, and Las Vegas. Jeff is also credited and appears in the blockbuster film "The Pursuit of Happyness," starring Will Smith.

We’re lucky and excited to see the return of Ira Summer.
Ira uses his pain to make you laugh. As an aging Baby Boomer growing up in a large dysfunctional family, there is a lot to share. Ira appreciates his sons, siblings and mother because without them, he would have to write all of his own material. Ira has performed at clubs, casinos, colleges and bars in 28 states, and can be heard on Sirius XM. He has been a finalist in the The World Series of Comedy and The US Comedy Contest, was the winner of the first Over 60 Comedy Competition. Ira has participated in the Oakland Comedy Festival, the Comedy Fringe Festival, the Portland Comedy Festival, the Burbank Comedy Festival and the San Leandro Comedy Festival.

Also featuring Bay Area Favorites Loren Kraut and Kevin Munroe:

Loren is a writer and comedian in San Francisco. She created the Instagram reels of LOL Little Old Lesbian and the series Giraffe Corner. She was recently performing in Limassol, Cyprus for the 3rd International Comedy Festival.

Kevin has recently returned from living in Los Angeles and performs in all major clubs in The Bay.
