Our 7 weeks of Advent is November 5 - December 23. The midweek theme is Jesus' I AM statements from the Gospel of John.
During Advent (like during Lent) the midweek services are different than Sunday so you are encouraged to attend both. If you find the secular Christmas season to be stressful, Advent can help you slow down and look with longing for the day Jesus comes back.
Midweek Service: Wednesday at 9am or Thursday at 6:30pm (except Thanksgiving, November 26, when both services will be on Wednesday). Full service w/ Communion. We will be using the Evening Prayer Liturgy.
November 5 & 6 - I am the Light of the World (John 8:12-32)
November 12 & 13 - I am the Door (John 10:1-10)
November 19 & 20 - I am the Good Shepherd (John 10:11-18)
November 26 - I am the Bread of Life (John 6:25-59)
December 3 & 4 - I am the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:17-44)
December 10 & 11 - I am the Way & the Truth & the Life (John 14:1-14)
December 17 & 18 - I am the True Vine (John 15:1-17)
Wed. Bible Class: During Advent, Bible Class will be at 10am
Sunday Services: 9am. The readings and hymns teach us to look forward to the 2nd coming of Christ, while we remember His 1st coming at Christmas.
