End Racial Profiling, Stop ICE Raids (Tuesday Action Series)

The Supreme Court just ruled ICE agents have the authority to stop and detain people based on "how they look, what language they speak, what work they do, or even where they happen to be" (American Immigration Council). The blatant racial profiling has now been sanctioned by the supreme court, and this has to stop. Our government is recruiting folks to join ICE with $50k signing bonuses, forgiveness of student loans, and has now removed the age limit for those applying.

We cannot stay silent. We must make our voice heard.

In her dissent, Supreme Court justice Sotomayor said, "We should not have to live in a country where the Government can seize anyone who looks Latino, speaks Spanish, and appears to work a low wage job. Rather than stand idly by while our constitutional freedoms are lost, I dissent.”

This Tuesday action is part of our larger series of actions that have been happening since spring 2025. We gather on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month because we have the conviction of our beliefs. Join us.
